For those of you who know me, I am a huge fan of Spanish and Portuguese food. And when I say Spanish, I mean, from Spain. I love tapas, I could go from tapas bar to tapas bar. So, that being said, you can imagine how ecstatic I was to stumble upon this lovely tapas bar, Tapa Toro when I was wandering about International Drive. In fact, this is some of the best food that I have had in a long time. And it is probably some of the best food that I have had outside of Spain.
I started with the above shrimp and garlic. It is one of the most beautifully presented and deliciously tasting things that has ever graced my lips. It can rival French cuisine. It was layered so beautifully and all of the different layers truly complimented each other and worked together well. Plus, let’s not forget that little fact that there was also plenty of garlic in it, and garlic will forever be one of my favorite things. And the red wine that I was drinking also helped cut down on some of that fat.
Pictured above is of course the most basic of Spanish foods, Pan con Tomate (Bread with tomatoes), but you could just taste the freshness of those tomatoes. So ripe and plump.
It was then followed by this stew. My only wish with the stew was that there was more lamb in it. Still, the red wine complimented this lamb stew dish.
Lastly, I topped off the evening with the traditional flan. It was so creamy and tasty. Simple and delicate and beautifully presented.
In addition to excellent wait staff, and great food, there was even a traditional flamenco dancer. That truly put the experience over the top.

If you are ever in Orlando and pay a visit to International Drive, then I truly recommend checking this place out at least once. Like I said, best Spanish food outside of Spain.
