Of course, I am a major foodie. I talk about food numerous times throughout this blog. That being said, I am always on the lookout for new restaurants and places to eat, whether food stalls or not. I will travel long and far for food. And sometimes not so far. In fact, two of my favorite food trucks are New England based. They are Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese-which is based in Boston, MA. And, Fryborg. Of course, my favorite fries there are bacon, egg and cheese fries. Of course, bacon everything is the stuff of dreams, and egg everything is like having heaven on Earth.
Nevertheless, you can always imagine that I am always on the hunt for the next food craze. Well, let me just say, I love street food. There is just something about it.
That being said, one of my favorite place in the United States to get street food is in Bryant Park in New York City. I have yet to have bad food there. I will literally go from food truck and stall to food truck and stall, right down the line, sampling absolutely everything in site. Calories certainly do not count. I have put together a compilation of some of my favorite pictures from some of my favorite street food vendors stationed in Bryant Park, New York City.
Chick n Cone is one of my favorites. And, if I am being honest, the only thing that I do not like about Chick n’ Cone is that it was not my idea. Honestly, the idea is simply genius. They have done an amazing take on chicken and waffles and make it simple enough and easy enough so that you can walk around Manhattan.
As for HomeFrie, basically any kind of fries will make me happy and make me feel good. If you ever pay a visit to Manhattan and Bryant Park, you can’t go wrong with any of their food stalls and food truck vendors. However, from personal experience, I highly recommend HomeFrite, Bao by Kaya and Chick n Cone.
If you have any suggestions of your favorite street food vendors in Bryant Park, e-mail me here and it could be featured on the site.
